The Riviera Collection hotel is above all a love story. The one that Julia and Laurent Bansard, its owners, have been living with the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region and its inhabitants for several years.
In love with the French Riviera, they wanted to open an establishment that would symbolise the art of living of this French region with a thousand and one faces. It all began in October 2019, when they bought the hotel building. After a year and a half of work, they finally opened the doors of the establishment as they had imagined it, in June 2021.
More than a simple building, the Riviera Collection hotel symbolises the realisation of a project that has been carefully thought through and built like a second home where one welcomes relatives.
Finding the perfect place is not always an easy task. For Julia and Laurent Bansard, this quest rhymed with love. After visiting several establishments in the region, the Art Deco building, ideally located in the heart of Nice, was an obvious choice.
It must be said that this style, emblematic of the Roaring Twenties (1920-1930), gives it an identity as strong as it is elegant. Its symmetry, its sharp angles, its motifs and ornamental details make it a unique place. Its great luminosity echoes the azure sun that warms the people of Nice every day. The building also benefits from an ideal location. Indeed, it is located near the Nice train station and the Promenade des Anglais.
These characteristics make the Riviera Collection hotel the perfect address to enjoy the Côte d'Azur in the best way, for a stay with family, couple or friends, in a refined atmosphere and authentically faithful to the codes of the French Riviera.
Decoration, materials... Nothing has been left to chance to make the Riviera Collection hotel an emblematic place on the French Riviera. The four-star establishment has been imagined and thought out down to the smallest detail so that each guest feels good. The talented interior designer Miriam Gassman was entrusted with the design of the hotel. With the help of a team of local craftsmen and enthusiasts, she was able to give the hotel all its originality.
The French Riviera, or the art of living under the Mediterranean sun, surrounded by vibrant colours, is the main source of inspiration for the hotel. Its unique atmosphere, peaceful, exotic and dynamic at the same time, lulls the establishment and gives it a certain charm.
Here, Klein blue gently imposes itself as the reflection of the sea and gives the hotel its character. It is in constant dialogue with other colours, blending with materials, spaces and original decoration to create an exceptional setting.
