Welcome to Nice, where the excitement takes on a new dimension with the famous Nice Carnival taking place from February 17 to March 03, 2024.

The Nice Carnival, France's first international carnival, is the Côte d'Azur's biggest winter event. Two weeks of festivities bring the city of Nice to life - day and night "Corsi carnavalesques" and elegant "Batailles de Fleurs" are on the program for this not-to-be-missed event, with this year's guest of honor the Aosta Valley Carnival.

It attracts thousands of visitors every year. The city is transformed into a festive paradise where joy, music and color reign supreme. The streets come alive with dazzling parades, decorated floats and artistic performances that transport spectators into a fairytale world.

This year's Carnaval de Nice promises a captivating program that will delight fans of the festivities. The festivities kick off on February 17 with the grand opening ceremony, marking the start of two weeks of non-stop celebrations.

• Battle of the Flowers (February 17): Don't miss this breathtaking floral parade where tons of fresh flowers are used to create extravagant floats. A unique visual spectacle that will amaze young and old alike.

• Corsos Illuminés (February 22 and 24): Immerse yourself in the glitter of lights as the Corsos Illuminés take to the streets of Nice. Illuminated floats parade in an explosion of color, creating a magical atmosphere.

• Evening Parades (February 25 and 27): Evening parades promise incredible artistic performances, with local and international artists captivating audiences with demonstrations of exceptional talent.

• Burning of the King (March 03): The Carnival closes with the burning of the Carnival King on the Promenade des Anglais. A grandiose pyrotechnic spectacle that puts an end to two weeks of memorable festivities.
